Trystan James

Chiropractor

Trystan graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic with a Master's degree in Chiropractic, having developed a passion for healthcare through his own experiences with sports-related injuries sustained whilst playing rugby. Those firsthand experiences of injury and recovery inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to helping others return to doing what they love.

Outside of the clinic, Trystan enjoys an active lifestyle and has a keen interest in skiing, mountain biking, and weightlifting. His passion for sport and movement gives him a strong understanding of the physical demands placed on the body, allowing him to relate to patients from all walks of life—from athletes to those simply wanting to move without pain.

Having worked across South and West Wales, Trystan has gained extensive experience in assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. He has a particular interest in managing headaches and sciatic pain, using an evidence-based approach tailored to each individual's needs and goals.

A firm believer that successful treatment extends beyond hands-on care, Trystan is a strong advocate for rehabilitation. He works closely with his patients to provide personalised exercise programmes, practical advice, and long-term strategies to reduce pain, improve function, and help prevent future injuries. His aim is not only to relieve symptoms but also to empower patients with the knowledge and confidence to take control of their recovery.

As a fluent Welsh speaker, Trystan is delighted to offer consultations and treatment in both Welsh and English.

Giacomo Leighton

Chiropractor

Giacomo graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic with a Masters degree. Originally from Australia, he has called Wales home since 2017.

Before pursuing chiropractic, Giacomo competed as a member of the Welsh slalom kayaking team, representing Wales at both national and international competitions. Following his competitive career, he spent two years coaching the Welsh slalom kayaking team, developing a strong appreciation for movement, performance, and helping others achieve their goals.

These experiences sparked his passion for helping people recover from injury, improve their movement, and return to doing the activities they love. He enjoys working with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and believes in taking an individualised approach to care.

Outside of the clinic, Giacomo enjoys playing golf and padel, spending time in the gym, and has a keen interest in cars.
